The Institute for Gender Studies (IGS) of Ochanomizu University calls for original manuscripts, written in Japanese or English, for the Journal of Gender Studies (volume 28) scheduled to be published in July 2025. Published articles will be made available on the IGS website as well as on Ochanomizu University’s institutional repository TeaPot.
Qualification
We welcome submissions from researchers in any field of gender studies, with masters or higher degree, in Japan and elsewhere.
Deadline for Manuscripts
January 10, 2025 (Fri.), 5 pm（Japan time）
How to Submit a Manuscript:
* Please note that authors should submit the title and abstract first before they submit the manuscripts. The deadlines for abstracts and manuscripts are different.

Please note:
* Only those manuscripts of which the title and abstract are submitted by Dec. 15th will be considered for review.
* All manuscripts should conform to Instructions for Authors and Style Sheet for Journal of Gender Studies.
* The main text and abstract should be uploaded in MS Word files, the tables and figures in MS Word or MS Excel files, and photographs in JPEG or PDF files. All those files should be submitted from the above-mentioned site.
* There is no problem with cancellation of submission or slight changes to the final title and the contents.
