The Institute for Gender Studies (IGS) of Ochanomizu University calls for original manuscripts, written in Japanese or English, for the Journal of Gender Studies (volume 29) scheduled to be published in July 2026. Published articles will be made available on the IGS website as well as on Ochanomizu University’s institutional repository TeaPot.
Qualification
We welcome submissions from researchers in any field of gender studies, with masters or higher degree, in Japan and elsewhere.

January 10, 2026 (Sat), 5 pm（JST）
How to Submit a Manuscript:
* Please note that authors should submit the title and abstract first before they submit the manuscripts. The deadlines for abstracts and manuscripts are different. Only those manuscripts of which the title and abstract are submitted by Dec. 15th will be considered for review. There is no problem with cancellation of submission or slight changes to the final title and the contents.
